Frequently Asked Questions
What is the ASVAB?
The ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) is the test the U.S. military uses to determine enlistment eligibility and job qualification. Your AFQT score, drawn from the Arithmetic Reasoning, Word Knowledge, Paragraph Comprehension, and Mathematics Knowledge sections, determines whether you qualify to enlist at all.
What does Mission: Qualified cover?
Practice questions for all four AFQT sections (Arithmetic Reasoning, Word Knowledge, Paragraph Comprehension, Mathematics Knowledge), a pacing diagnostic to find your ideal timing strategy, a study schedule, and Ace, a conversational AI study coach you can talk to by voice or text.
Is Mission: Qualified free?
Yes. The site is currently in free beta — all features, including Ace voice coaching, are available at no cost while subscriptions are being finalized.
Who is Ace?
Ace is an AI study coach built for students who learn differently, including those with ADHD or dyslexia. You can talk to Ace by voice or text, and Ace remembers your conversation across visits on the same device, even without creating an account.
Do I need to create an account?
No — you can practice questions and talk to Ace without signing up. Creating a free account with an email and username lets your progress and XP sync and persist more reliably.
